How to book a one-way ticket to the Land of Cyber Resilience

Bucket and spade? Check. Hot ticket to the local attraction? Check. These are just a couple of things holidaymakers and day-trippers to the South West are likely to have in their bags. And you as a business owner, what must-haves will determine this summer season as a success for you? Repeat bookings? Great feedback on TripAdvisor?

Whatever is on your list, Cyber Essentials is what you really can’t do without and not just at peak times but 365 days a year. If you’re not sure what that is then you’ve landed in the right place!

The SWCRC works in partnership with a team of Trusted Partners that are Cyber Essentials certified, which in a nutshell means they have vast knowledge about keeping businesses like yours safer from common and preventable cyber-attacks.

Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme that helps you to protect your organisation in a simple yet highly effective way. Cybercrimes take on many different shapes and forms – you may be familiar with the terms phishing, ransomware and social engineering – but a lot of successful violations are conducted on a basic level and often by criminals who are relatively inexperienced.

We’d encourage you to spend the next five minutes watching this video featuring our Trusted Partner Securious to learn some Cyber Essentials basics.

The SWCRC team understands that running a business is quite the journey and we’re ready with a parasol for those days when the heat on staying cyber resilient starts getting a little much for you. If you’d like some guidance on how our Trusted Partners can help you with Cyber Essentials, please get in touch.
