The South West Cyber Resilience Centre is led by serving police officers, as part of a not-for-profit partnership with business and academia. Because we're funded by the Home Office, regional policing and private businesses, we don't need to make money from our members. We think we're unique in being able to provide something to protect the small businesses and charities who don't have the resources or knowledge to protect themselves from cybercrime.
We cover the policing areas of Devon and Cornwall, Avon and Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
We provide free core membership which delivers simple and comprehensible guidance on reducing cyber risks, with regular updates on the latest threats. We can also help if you need someone to look in detail at your own systems and processes, with a uniquely-affordable offer that uses local university talent. And if you need a commercial partner, we can give you some tips which might be more helpful than google. In short, we aim to make you safer. You can sign up below
We have been operating since October 2020, and have a number of highly-credible business partners working alongside us and offering support. You can see more detail below.
